Home - Journeys - Thailand and Laos 2020 - Wednesday, April 1, 2020

It still seems that during this unpleasant time we are sleeping better and better with the family in Lat Krabang. We wake up later and later.

Today promises to be a very quiet, boring and very warm day again
But at about eleven o'clock a parcel deliverer stops in front of the gate. A foldable (or whatever it may be called) swimming pool is delivered. It turns out that Moue ordered this together with Pia for 4000 Thb. Kaeng doesn't like that, he thinks it's way too expensive. Too bad for him.
But Kaeng goes out to buy a plastic sheet to put under the pool, so you might prevent leaks. And he can't find a plastic sheet. The children don't like that, they want to swim.
When Moue comes home from work, at about three o'clock, she has two plastic sheets with her, one for under the pool, and the other to hang over it against the sun.
When the plastic sheets are in place and hanging, the pool is put together in a good fifteen minutes, and a long time later there is a layer of water in it. The children are happy, a friend too, and so are we.
